there are alot when i was 5 i had about 200 of the old ones and the was about 1 hundred and something still to collect and now my brother collecting the new ones and he has about 300 so theres probably about 1000 poke'mon cards lol

These sets have a vast range of sizes, from Fossil (the smallest at 61 cards), to e-Expedition (the largest, at 165 'normal' cards, a full reverse-holo set, and 4 boxtoppers, for a total of 334 cards).
