I am preparing to sell my pokemon cards and don't know how to tell if they are "1st edition" or not.

I know that cards are worth more if they are 1st edition or have an error rather than unlimited. How can I tell if they are 1st edition? Is there a speific marking? Does it say right on the card?

All cards in 1st edition are marked with a symbol. The symbol for 1st edition is a 1 in the bottom right corner of the picture. The 2nd edition has a 2 in the same place. good luck selling.
