How do you tell if a Pokemon card is rare.....I'm sure my son is being fiddled out of some great cards.?

it all depends on what the card is, if, the card has a star its rare pokemon, circle its common pokemon, diamond its evevolving pokemon so the small shapes in the corner have nothing to do with the rarity of the card but the rarity of the pokemon. even though the stars do mean that the card is strong/rare.

Reply:i used to always colect pockemon cards. i got had, out of a few cards to. in my sorce list i'll put some webbies that are good to look at
Reply:i think there a key/legend that tells you on the pack
Reply:You just have to look at the bottom right or bottom left corner of the card (I don't remember which one it is now).


If there is a black circle then the card is a common/normal one.


If there is a black square then the card is a rare one.


If there is a black star then the card is a super rare one.
