Will Pokemon cards be worth money to save?

I just gave ALL my pokemon cards to my cousin because I lost interest in them. I had around 500 of them and I never used them anymore so I gave it to him. The only thing is, I think I might regret it if they do become a lot of money. Is there any chance of the getting up to worth a lot money?

I have a weird feeling there is. Sorry but they dont sell the original pokemon cardsa nymore exept for top dollar. I have over 1000 pokemon cards and i am keeping them. I think if you could maybe"Borrow one back" you could bring it to like gamestop or some card store to ask the experts the value.
Reply:Their not worthless, but their not expensive either- depends on the cards, i have some cards worth 50 cents and some worth 20 dollars. but i don't think the prices of them will go up over time like sports cards.
Reply:I don't think so, unless you have a first edition in mint condition. And even then, only a real fanatic would buy them. Pokemon just isn't popular anymore.
Reply:NO WAY! WHO IN THIS WORLD WOULD LIKE TO BUY THOSE SECOND HAND POKEMON CARDS.....THEY ARE WORTHLESS......ITS A BIT RUDE I KNOW....BUT .....BUDDY U CANT MAKE BUSINESS OUT OF THESE SILLY JUNK......EVEN I USED TO COLLECT THEM AND SPEND THOUSANDS OF MONEY ON THEM BUT IT WAS OF NO USE AND PEOPLE R LEAST INTERESTED ABOUT BUYING THEM NOW.THEY ARE OUT OF DATE NOWADAYS.

hehe ....hope u understand it.
Reply:no i doubt it...theyre not baketball cards or baseball cards so who cares..
Reply:No because it bought some joy out of your cousin. And it brobaly would of given you about 12 dollars.
