I got a powerful pokemon deck...the thing is its all old cards (95-2000)...can I still use them for tournament battle?
Can I use my old Pokemon cards for tournament and competition??
If you are looking to play in a Nintendo sanctioned Pokemon tournament, you will not be able to use that deck. Nintendo only allows modified cards in their tournaments. The current modified is any card that was produced from Ex Deoxys on. If you can find a local league that runs unsanctioned tournaments and they allow unmodified decks... then, by all means, destroy them with whatever cards you feel necessary.

No you cant i go to the league every sunday and they say you can only use cards from damond and pearl and up. You can use them in the league though and there are some people who would trade for some old cards.
