What are the Rare Pokemon cards?

i was looking thru my room, and i found some of my old pokemon cards.i have some holograhic ones, regular ones, and japinese ones, and i was wondering if someone could tell me what are the rare pokemon cards? they are all from the pokemon's back before all this pearl, diamond, whatever came along. can soeone please help me? i tried to find a website that has pictures of the rare ones, but couldnt find them.

Rare cards usually have a little star in the bottom right-hand corner of the card. Uncommon have a diamond, and common have a circle.

Reply:well the rare ones look cool and might be golden the rare legandaire pokemon are rare in cards too the pokemon might be cute like mew wich is rare but i am not good with cards heres a source that you may like to see rear pokemon and might get an a clue .

Reply:some rare cards are Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur.And holos, EXs,cards that have a tiny star at the bottom right corner.
