my nephew has a million pokemon cards including the real shiny ones and i guess he has a lot into them. are they going to come back for him to get his money back out of them?

Yeah, they will be cool again in about 10-15 years. That's how things go. I remember Garbage Pail Kids were huge back in the 80's then in mid 90's they had a comeback.

As for coming back in great popularity, I don't think so...
Collectors should still pay for them.
