How can I tell the value of my pokemon cards?

I have a value book that I bought when pokemon cards were really big (my guess is late 90s very early 2000s). Are the values realistic still in there? Are they doubled or half as much? I don't even know where to start

How can I tell the value of my pokemon cards?

Reply:by a becket (I think) or go to ebay and see what they are selling for
Reply:one word

eBay!
Reply:they are worth what people are willing to pay.

Reply:When kids try to steal it from you.

Try getting a new value book, if it exists.
Reply:That's not realistic now. That's an econ question. If demand for pokemon is down, so is the value/price of your cards. If demand is up, their value is higher too.
Reply:They are worth a whopping two cents per card.
Reply:Look it up online. If you don't know a website to go to, see how much they are on ebay.
Reply:e bay
Reply:They are not worth anything because they were replaced by my favorite new trading cards like YUGIOH and WoW cards.
Reply:eBay would be the right place (since that's probably where you would sell the card), but try this instead...

Reply:Better sell them for Euro dollars, the US dollar is falling fast!
Reply:Buy a magazine called Becket Pokemon! I subscribe to it! That magazine is how I found out the charizard I traded my friend was worth WAY more than her pokemon! It was number 1 in the top 10 is how rare the charizard was!

I have one more way! this tells the rarity but not the value. Look at the tiny symbol at the corner or the card.
Reply:they'll be worth as much as people will pay for them, check what people are paying for them on eBay or somthing
Reply:check ebay and compare
Reply:Some have gone up, some have gone down. Go to a dealer and find out.
Reply:Beckett was my source of Pokemon info way back when, including a price guide to the cards. A quick search revealed that the magazine is still in circulation. I will include a line to the website where you may be able to subscribe if you wish.
