when i was into pokemon i liked them
Reply:ill buy your 22 holographic cards for $5.00, they have boxes of cards for $3.99 but i dont want boxes, just holographics Report Abuse

Reply:mewtow
Reply:Well... looking at the list, it seems that the sets are ranging from Base to Fossil. Unfortunatly, a majority of those cards have massively decreased in value to about a dollar or less per holo with a few exceptions... Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Mewtwo. As for selling advice... Ebay may be your best bet around Christmas time... but you'd have to keep a close eye on prices at that point.

Are Pokemon cards going to be worth much in 10-15 years ?

I have a bunch of pokemon cards, back from when i was in 3rd grade , and I'm thinking about selling them . So my question is should i sell them now , or should i wait ?

Are Pokemon cards going to be worth much in 10-15 years ?
It really depends on what cards you have. If you have the common ones, they won't really have much value. The Japanese produced ones made back in the mid 90's from Bandai, Meiji, Carddass, etc. are deemed very valuable.
Reply:you should wait... they will be rare in the future which will make them cost more.
Reply:I wish I had my old Beatle cards now! Hold on for a long time. (I do have Mork and Mindy cards!)
Reply:Sell sell sell. Just my opinion, kept far to many things collecting dust, so they can collect more dust.
Reply:No, because there are so many of them.
Reply:Probably not because not many people like pokemon.
Reply:you should wait. if you wait longer the prices will increase making them more rare.
Reply:Ah, 3rd grade pokemon cards. Sounds familiar. I would wait, if you're prepared to wait a long time. Most toys from a long time ago are very expensive now.
Reply:Just wait. I have a bunch from when I was in middle school too and I checked on ebay to see the prices. They are worth about the same now. You will never know if they will be worth more in the future. Just keep them safe and tucked away.

How should I sell my Pokemon cards?

I have some Pokemon cards I wish to sell. How should I find potential buyers, and how should I sell the cards to them?

How should I sell my Pokemon cards?
1 Easy Answer... eBay... the easiest way to put cards up for sale... although finding buyers who are interested may take a few days or months (depending on card sold).
Reply:Well first of all you should go to a shop that collects things like cards or magazines. You can sell them there but they will rip you off. Your best bet is to find a neighborhood kid who you can rip off for their money.

Where do you get a book that tells you which pokemon cards are rare or common?

I have pokemon cards and I'm wondering which are rare or common. My dad said there was a book but where can you find one?

Where do you get a book that tells you which pokemon cards are rare or common?
You can get that list of cards by buying a pokemon card deck and the deck includes the things you need including the list you've ask for. It is located behind a rulebook.Rare cards have a star symbol located at the bottom right of the card, rare holo has a letter 'H' next to the star, uncommon has a diamond symbol and the common symbol is a circle. If your card does not have a symbol,it is a promo card. If you want to know more, go to www.pokemon-tcg.com .. Hope it helps...
Reply:I don't really know sorry.
Reply:Game exchange Has books On that and you can at most Books stores Or hobbie shops
Reply:go to toy store and ask about pokemon books and they will show you or a comic book store

dang those could go for alot! Try ebay
Reply:EBAY.com or your friends
Reply:try to sell them to ur friends as someone first said that .. side by side, try to sell them on ebay.com, amazon.com and qualitybusinesslinks.com

What stores can you find the Diamond and Pearl Pokemon Cards?

I have tried many Toys R Us stores but they don't have the new Diamond and Pearl Pokemon cards. They are all sold out! If you know any stores where you can find them, please let me know. They are a gift for friend.

What stores can you find the Diamond and Pearl Pokemon Cards?
I saw PLENTY at Walmart, and I've seen some at Target. Toys R Us carries them, and even K-Mart. Best Buy has them, and Sports Authority.

Or online, you can get them at Amazon.com, eBay.com, or any store website such as Walmart.com. Other sites could be trading card sites.

They sell for average of $3.99. I hope I helped you out!
Reply:Ask them when they will restock.
Reply:They only sell premire cards now with 4 booster packs and thats about 16$. I got mine at ToysRus Dearborn and they were kinda in stock. I mean that they had more than 5 each. There are 3 different tins (witch holds the card and booster packs) You can choose Turtwig, Chimchar or Piplup. (I choose Turtwig and my sister picked Piplup) (because thats our starter pokemon in Dimond and Pearl). I have Pearl so my sister choose Dimond. Sorry about all this junk I said but I hope that the nonjunk stuff helps. Good Luck! :)

What kind of pokemon cards are best and how much can i sell them for.?

i have about 1000 pokemon cards doubles in tons of different pictures.17 clay some doubles and 7 sparkly and 1 promo mew. how much is that worth?

What kind of pokemon cards are best and how much can i sell them for.?
I think your best option would be Ebay. Most collectors of anything, check ebay these days, and if you list them worldwide, you get many thousands of people looking at them. The trick with ebay, is to list them fairly low below their value. Everyone wants a bargain, so if the price starts too high, it scares alot of buyers away. I've listed $100 items for $80, and got no bids, so I've relisted them at $50, and got heaps of bids, and ended up getting twice their value several times. Just make sure you list as much info as you possibly can, and have a few good clear pictures in the auction listing. Its only about $3 for 6 px, and its well worth investing the extra in the listing.
Reply:i plan on sellin some of my pokemon someday too(onoly extras)

I really don't know, but if i had to guess, over $100(maybe $200. MAYBE)

How much would i get for these pokemon and yugyho cards?

thx

How much would i get for these pokemon and yugyho cards?
OK well don,t use the internet as your source of selling them what you should do is go to a collecters shop in the town or city that you live in and go there and see if you can bargain with them something like that and ya thats what i did when i found a bunch of Base ball cards but most of them were the yankess and i got $750$ for that!

What is the name of the book which holds a load of pokemon trading cards in it?

Its a big book where you can store all your pokemon cards. If possible, can anyone show me a picture/link? that would be great.

What is the name of the book which holds a load of pokemon trading cards in it?
You just need a binder and some card sheets to go in it. Just use a binder like you use for school with three rings. Then go to a walmart and look where they have the card display (usually in the front of the store) and find the card sheets and buy some.

Where can i go to trade my Pokemon cards for money?

Can anyone tell me which is the best pack of pokemon cards to buy?

My daughter is having a birthday soon and has just begun collecting pokemon cards. I know that there are lots of types of pokemon decks, but she would like to collect the ones that are especially worth a lot. I'm wanting to figure out which ones, out of all the types of packages, have the best chances of containing cards worth more than usual. Thank you!

Can anyone tell me which is the best pack of pokemon cards to buy?
I agree with Raven
Reply:Your best bet would be to go to to a card shop, if you have a Mayhem near you it'd be the best, and explain the situation to them. They'll point out the best things for you to pick up.

It also depends on how much money you're wanting to spend.

-Tim
Reply:There is specifically no answer to that question. Although, I am sure to beleive that the most recent packs that come out can be sold for a high price, this only works for certain cards. Some other cards can still be sold for a good price.

Bold fonts were used on the original pokemon cards.

How much do the original pokemon cards go for now aday?

so i need some cash and i have a crap load of pokemons cards from when i was like 9. and i am wondering how much those cards go for at like a pawn shop. what shops do you even sell them at anyway? and would i get my moneys worth at a pawn shop? thanks.

I would also like to point out that it would be nice if you told me if saving pokemon cards until its been like 30 years is better. will they become like expensive, or should i just sell them now and get some cash?

How much do the original pokemon cards go for now aday?
Good Question. Id Say 10.00

How much could I sell my old pokemon cards for?

I have 1,298 pokemon cards. the original ones too :)

from like 1999-2002ish i suppose. anyway, i was thinking about selling them on ebay. for that many cards, what should the starting bid be?

How much could I sell my old pokemon cards for?
i think you should sell all the non rare ones separete than the rare ones because there are collecters out there that would pay alot of money for just one card im talkin bout 60 bucks just for one!!! try looking up sites to see how much they are worth first if you need any help just email me and ill help u find the sites =) much luck..
Reply:It depends on the condition of the card and what type are their like rare or common if i should say u should save them for future and it will cost even more

How do i tell the difference between legal and illegal pokemon cards?

my nephew is just nine years old and he is really in to this pokemon thing and he has some old cards and some newer ones from booster packs .. i will have to buy him a new deck because we unknowingly traded in all of his energy and trainer cards for others

How do i tell the difference between legal and illegal pokemon cards?
by from walmart not from dollar tree or that place where everything is 1.00
Reply:You can look at a few different thing... Go look at a normal legal card. Then check a few things; if the border spacing is not correct, it is suspicious. Also, if you're planning to spend over ten dollars, compare images of the product with ones online.

If you have it open, you can check the luster, spacing, spelling, and image.
Reply:call up the manufactures and they will tell u

Are Pokemon cards ever going to be worth something?

The originial pokemon cards? I have a full 500+ of Pokemon Cards from 5 years ago in a perfect condition. Just wondering but is it ever going to be worth something in the future?

Are Pokemon cards ever going to be worth something?
The old pokemon cards are not worth very much. The only ones worth something are the rares.By the way, to all of you that were saying Pokemon is retarded and unpopular, you are dead wrong. The game continues to get more popular and has always been popular.
Reply:They are worth a lot now... memories. Seriously, you can't deny the fact that countless memories lie in those seemingly worthless cards. Save them until you're really old... then you could take them to antique's roadshow. :) Report Abuse

Reply:THEY MAKE GOOD FIREWOOD
Reply:I hope so otherwise id have to get rid of all of mine and i have loads of shineys or we could try and bring pokemon back into popularity
Reply:Probably not, and if so, not for a very long time. A lot of people actually saved their cards and probably have the same idea as you.
Reply:nah, probably not. You should have sold them when Pokemon was popular. I recently sold my whole colllection at a garage sale for five bucks.
Reply:Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Pokemon is a franchise that is going to remain popular. Magic prices continue to rise because the game is still growing. This isn't the case with the kid's versions of the game, Pokemon and Yugioh.
Reply:Pokemon is retarded! =] People who like pokemon need to get some lives.. and do something better with their time.
Reply:they will be worth lots money in the future
Reply:I think they may be worth something significant when you're an old old man, but I think there are too many people out there with similar collections with the same idea.

Basically, I wouldn't count on making much this lifetime. Give it to your great Grandson as you're dying. Maybe he'll make some cash.

Reply:I personally think that they would never be worth something unless the show stops playing on TV.
Reply:some are. one of my friends has a charizard (spelling) worth 150$ or something

look them up on ebay, add them together and subtract 10% they'll sell.
Reply:nope
Reply:sorry, but probably not. They were only popular back in 2000 and 2001. But who knows, maybe in the future, they will become popular again! Someone who is a real fan of them may pay alot of money to get their hands on your collection ;)

The Japanese cards are worth more because their Pokemon is stronger than the English cards. You should sell them separately to get more money.

Though the price is pretty high. So don't expect those will be the prices you are going to get for them.

You can try Ebay to sell. Or if you find a local card shop, they may take them off your hands. Though, again, don't expect too much for them. And it depends on the buyer. Some buyers will price foreign cards lower since they can't read them and some will price them higher since they are harder to get here in the states. But most people will price them the same as English version.
Reply:http://www.pojo.com/priceguide/prices.ht...

Yes, I did copy that address from Steve. Thanks Steve. This can tell you prices, but I suggest going to Ebay and selling them. Be sure to sell each rare individually. Make the price on the price guide the starting price. Some collectors will pay insane prices for one card. IDK how to sell the commons and uncommons, try to do the same thing. Who knows? There might be two collectors who can't get a specific common card and you are selling it. They could raise the price insanely.
